So what makes this inner city restaurant/café so popular? Well for starters the owners take customer service really seriously and know each customers by name along with their coffee and usual food orders. It also helps that the Avenue on Chifley produces some of the tastiest food in the city!
Knowing that customer service is essential to operating a successful business, the Avenue on Chifley has worked with YQme as a technology partner and invested in a custom phone app, fully branded to their business.
The team here at YQme was delighted to launch the app at the venue, and the uptake by customers was amazing! They were so impressed with the idea that they could now top-up their accounts online and simply order and pay for items before arriving at the store. For some customers this means they can leave the wallet at home and pay through their mobile phones.
Daily specials are regularly updated through the app which informs customers which tasty treats are available for order from their desk so they’re able to decide what they are going to have for lunch. The response was better than ever with a lot of customers receiving the flyers from our promo people and downloading the app right then and there.
The guys at Avenue didn’t want their customers to miss out on anything so they thought about what promotions they are currently running in store and made sure they were available online. Most of their customers had coffee cards so this was important for Avenue to have in the app. A coffee card that was built into their app that their customers didn’t have to carry around and there was no chance of losing – the app looks after it all!
